ADR Training

The ADR programme delivered covers the following classes:

• Class 1 Explosives (not delivered on standard course)
  
• Class 2 – Gases
• Class 3 – Flammable Liquids
• Class 4 – Flammable Solids
• Class 5 – Oxidising Agents
• Class 6 – Toxic & Infectious Substances
• Class 7 Radioactive (not delivered on standard courses)
• Class 8 – Corrosives
• Class 9 – Environmental Hazardous

The programme includes:

• Core Module, undertaken by all drivers
• Packages – a description of variety and type of containment systems used foe the carriage of Dangerous goods by road other than by tankers.
• Tanks – for the movement of dangerous goods in road tankers & tank containers.

All the above modules are subject to Scottish Qualifications Authority examinations.

Duration
3.5 day course to cover Core Packages & 7 danger classes, with a further 1.5 days to cover Tanks & Tank Containers.
If you do not wish to do tanks then the course would be reduced to 3.5 day course.

Explosives and Radioactives as one day additions subject to course numbers.

Candidates may also attend  ADR courses for specific courses, for example Core, Packages and Class 2 Gases
